We are currently looking for an IT Director will set the strategic technology vision for Duchesnay Pharmaceutical group. This role oversees the three core pillars —Architecture, Digital Transformation, and Infrastructure & Operations to ensure technology accelerates business performance and organizational growth.
The person in this role will translate business priorities into a clear technology roadmap and build a high performing team where IT operates as a strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute a 3-year technology roadmap aligned with business goals;
• Balance competing priorities between operations and driving transformation;
• Ensure governance, risk and compliance obligations are met across 3 pillars;
• Manage & oversee IT budget (CapEx & OpEx) and key vendor relationships;
• Mentor/coach the IT teams;
• Establish and report departmental KPIs;
• Maintain a Disaster recovery and Business continuity strategy;
• Advise management on emerging technologies and digital trends.

Required qualifications
• 10 years+ in IT leadership in a similar role; hands-on background in IT systems administration;
• A university degree in IT management or equivalent;
• Pharma or regulated industry experience considered a strong asset;
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) – required due to interactions with national and international partners.
Technical Knowledge
• Infrastructure: Windows environment, virtualisations, networking, hardware lifecycles;
• Microsoft Ecosystem: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Exchange and Office suite ;
• Security: Authentication, authorisation, IT security, and AI tools;
• Operations: Telecommunications, hardware and software procurement and vendor management.
