Reporting to the Senior Analyst, you will be involved in the preparation and analysis of various financial data and actively participate in month-end closing activities. You will ensure that tools and procedures are maintained to enable the business units to make informed decisions. You will also play an active role in the various financial processes, such as inventory management, costing, budgeting and the various analyses required.
Role and responsibilities
- Supervise engineering projects related to utility systems, buildings, facility maintenance, and technical infrastructure;
- Ensure the maintenance of buildings, utility systems, and non-GMP equipment to comply with all building, occupational safety, and fire code regulations and policies;
- Prepare and analyze service offers and specifications for assigned projects;
- Ensure that technical documents, specifications, and architectural plans related to the building and infrastructure are maintained;
- Ensure that facilities comply with applicable standards (GMP, CNESST, etc.);
- Supervise the monitoring of utilities and environmental conditions at the BAS and ensure that necessary actions are taken to limit the impact on GMP activities;
- Define and implement the OHS strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders;
- Manage budgets associated with building engineering and utility system projects as well as OHS initiatives;
- Collaborate with the quality, production, logistics, and technical services departments to ensure a compliant, safe, and efficient work environment;
- Participate in deviation investigations and the implementation of CAPA related to utility systems and the building;
- Write specifications and requirements for project and/or equipment tenders related to engineering;
- Ensure the validation of utilities;
- Participate in the drafting of documents such as procedures, policies, risk management, investigation or other documents related to your duties;
- Supervise the pest control program;
- Ensure the implementation of sustainable solutions for energy conservation, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities;
- Define and maintain performance indicators for your team in line with company objectives;
- Participate in internal and external audits;
- Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, or equivalent);
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions;
- Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
- Very good knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance management;
- Solid experience in occupational health and safety and OHS program management;
- Bilingualism (French and English) oral and written - due to the nature of the documents to be read and prepared, as well as interactions with national and international partners, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
