As part of Duchesnay Pharmaceutical Group (DPG), the Associate Director, Generic portfolio & commercial agreements will be responsible for all commercial efforts (including market access, wholesalers and pharmacy banners listings and potential promotion, if applicable) for the company’s generic (Gx) portfolio through Analog Pharma Canada. The primary intent is to optimize life cycle of the branded portfolio ie: commercialize Gx options in the field of rare diseases. We also want to ensure the dispensing of high-quality brands in the form of “ultra-generics” (AGx). To achieve all this, the incumbent will have to develop strategic plans and custumer initiatives supporting the creation of a synergistic portfolio and grow individual product market share within clear landscape (rare disease or AGx).
Key responsibilities:
Lead Analog Pharma Canada operations
In collaboration with various internal & external partners/stakeholders, lead the market landscape driven life-cycle management, including launches, of Gx & AGx brands while ensuring the portfolio profitability.
- Responsible for all stages of commercialization by developing and implementing tailored strategy for Analog Pharma Canada portfolio.
- Responsible for ensuring optimal listings and market access including tsubmissions to various private and/or public payers, wholesalers and banners, Group Purchasing Organizations as appropriate per brand.
- Assess the needs and coordinate, with the project team, all the stages to commercialize the product to be marketed. Carry out the necessary follow-ups to ensure the smooth coordination of the various stages to successfully launch according to timelines and planEnsure the best strategic positioning with the long-range plan of the company across DPG by identifying & leading key activities, such as contractual sales organization management, patient support programs, tenders & quote submissions to group purchasing organisations, adapted to each product and therapeutic area.
- Create and regularly update account business plans, sales forecasts (financial & supply) for all customers & brands.
- Develop customer business proposals to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Manage all stages leading to the commercialization of new products.
- Support the BD team by contributing to cross-functional assessment of potential new BD projects.
Lead B2B interactions (DPG)
- Build partnership agreements leading to market expansion of the various portfolios (wholesalers, chains & banners).
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to establish loyalty and build trust with all key customer contacts including key decision-makers.
- Ensure consistency amongst DPG companies in go-to-market channels and policies (communication, return policies, etc.).
- Perform periodic, internal & external, business reviews for all partners (if applicable).
- Ensure proper contractual fulfillment with internal stakeholders.
- Implement service agreements (if applicable).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any pharmaceutical related diploma, combined with more than 15 years of relevant and various experience in the generic pharmaceutical business in Canada. Part of that experience has been acquired while launching brands and has been involved in market access activities.
- Very strong knowledge of the various activities and specificities of the pharmacy go-to-market channels.
- Experience in the management of relationships with key players involved in the generic market.
- Solid understanding of some of the key requirements around approvals (medical, regulatory, commercial) is a strong asset.
- Bilingualism (French - English) oral and written - due to the nature of the documents to be read and prepared, as well as interactions with national/international partners, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.
Travel – Open to travel up to 15%
